Titles are full of keywords. The photos often show the real box, the age label and the safety marks. Zoom in on the box photo.

Check what is in the set

Many listings have several options at different prices. Check that the price you see is for the full set you want, not for one piece, one colour or the smallest size.

Read recent reviews with photos

Reviews with buyer photos show the real item. Read the reviews from the last few months, because a seller can change suppliers. Look for comments about missing parts, smell, sharp edges and battery covers.

Check size in centimetres

A toy can look big in a photo and arrive small. Read the size in the description, and for ride-ons, check the weight limit and the seat or handle height.

Know the return route

Before you buy, check the seller's return terms and the platform's current return and refund rules in the app. Record a short video when you open the parcel. It helps if a part is missing or broken.

Add shipping before you compare

A low price with high shipping can cost more than a higher price with free shipping. Compare the total at checkout.
